I really like Pike Place Market. It’s one of Seattle most iconic attractions and it’s filled with tasty treats. The thing is, this is not technically a tourist “spot.” This is where the locals shop, yet it’s a big tourist draw. The market consists of several lower levels located below the main (street) level. Each features a variety of unique shops such as antique dealers, comic book and collectible shops, and small family owned restaurants. The street level contains fishmongers, fresh produce and flower stands, and craft stalls by local farmers and craftspeople.
The original Starbucks is located right on Pike Place, across the street from the market, and one of the best patisseries in the city (and one of my favorites), Le Panier, is a few doors down from Starbucks, and it is a must do.
