By Sea Land and Air We Prosper

What’s unique about Vancouver? Why should we visit?
Vancouver has a unique geographical location where the city is nestled perfectly against the Pacific Ocean and West Coast Rainforest. You can take in a hockey game, go snowboarding, and do a bit of kayaking all in the same weekend if you so choose. Basically, the city is a perfect balance between urban and rural settings making it possible to live a very active and outdoorsy lifestyle without having to give up any city comforts.
Local Customs:
A popular custom is taking in a Vancouver Canucks game or cheering for them at a local bar. When the Canucks make it to the playoffs you can hear the city streets erupt with cheers when our home team scores.
Where do the locals hang out?
The locals tend not to live in downtown Vancouver with prices being what they are. Kitsilano, while also being a very posh district, attracts the locals with its proximity to the water and the views of the downtown core set against the Pacific Ocean. Restaurants and shops make it an ideal neighborhood to call home. And if you’re looking for a perfect view of the fireworks during the Celebration of Lights pick a spot on Kitsilano beach.
