Seattle Center is a great spot to see a couple of Seattle’s iconic attractions. Yes, it’s touristy, but the locals love it as well. To be fair, I understand why it’s popular. It’s located in a great area, just north of downtown Seattle, at the base of Queen Anne. It’s home to the iconic Space Needle and EMP’s (Experience Music Projects) futuristic Frank O. Gehry designed building. There are over twenty places to grab something to eat or drink, along with museums, gardens, shops, theaters, and more. You could spend the day here. This is a spot for great family fun, or for a leisurely couple’s stroll. And, at the end of the day, Seattle Center is located close to a couple of my favorite restaurants (Toulouse Petit, Serious Biscuit, Aqua).
