Spend all day or just make a quick trip in the morning to San Diego’s most loved hiking trail. Park along Coast Highway if you can, since the main parking lot charges a fee. This is a great spot to enjoy a classic relaxing beach day, free from the insanities and crowds you might find at more popular locations like Pacific Beach or Mission Beach. The highlight of coming here is the Guy Fleming hiking trail, which is easy to navigate, the 2/3 mile trail brings you around the cliffs for gorgeous photo opportunities. You can either walk from the beach to the trail or drive up to the parking lot at the Visitor Center, where you can check out the museum and history of the area.
