Also found along the Cass Corridor is Jack White’s Third Man Records. White had an incredible, creative vision that he brought to life in this space located right next door to Shinola. Third Man Records is a retail space but perhaps more importantly, also houses a record pressing production facility. One of only about 20 in the country. The combination of the two offers up an experience that you simply won’t find anywhere else. The record pressing happens in full view of customers and the retail shop offers an extensive collection of vinyl to purchase. There are listening stations, recording booths and even a concert space. If you are a music lover or just want to do something original with your afternoon, this is your spot.
