The Barnes Foundation is a powerhouse of a museum with exquisite pieces by artists like Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The art is uniquely arranged, in the same way, that private collector Dr. Albert C. Barnes arranged the art in his suburban mansion. Don’t miss The Dance II, a spectacular fifteen-foot mural by Matisse. Also, the monthly first Friday event is a great way to start the weekend with music and cocktails to go with the art.
