TEMPLE OF THE GOLDEN MOUNT

Temple of the Golden Mount, Wat Saket, sits atop a 100 metre-high manmade hill was commissioned by Rama III in the early 19th century. Standing at the mount’s summit is a golden chedi, which houses various Buddhist relics, but the main reason to hike up the 318 steps to the summit is for the stunning 360-degree views across Bangkok.
