SMITHSONIAN’S NATIONAL ZOO

Smithsonian’s National Zoo – As a part of the Smithsonian Institution, this zoo is completely free! It’s also home to the world famous Giant Pandas. With their daily programs, there are always is something happening and the National Zoo. Make sure to check their website for activities scheduled the day of your visit. You can also download their app with it’s interactive maps, animal information, and more. And, if you happen to visit from October through January, the Zoo hosts Zoolights, where the zoo itself is lit up in a variety of colors and there’s a new light show set to music!
