SEVA

Slightly off the beaten path in Detroit’s Midtown, you’ll find yourself at Seva, one of the greatest vegetarian restaurants I’ve ever been to. (It’s literally down a path too, so pay attention when you are looking for the entrance! It’s easy to miss. Park on Forest for free and follow the walkway.)

The atmosphere is clean and modern with the added bonus of a great outdoor garden and seating area. You can also take advantage of the patio in the winter. Grab a hot cider with rum and sit by the fire! Locals don’t stay inside just because it’s chilly!

Seva has delicious menu options for everyone so don’t shy away just because you are a die-hard carnivore. The menu is diverse and creative so bring your adventurous side!

The Eggs Veracruz is not to be missed and you can’t go wrong by starting with the General Tsu’s Cauliflower appetizer. The Pad Thai is also incredible. The cocktail choices are fresh and inventive and there is an excellent selection of microbrews for the beer connoisseur.  Bon appetit!
