It’s not a trip to San Diego without stopping by La Jolla Cove, where you can find up-close interactions with sea life. The cove is the best spot in San Diego for snorkeling, and checking out tide pools. Plus there’s the controversial Children’s Beach, where you’re more likely to spot a group of seals sunbathing than kids. All year there’s plenty of wildlife to spot in their natural habitat. Even if you aren’t the nature-lover type, you cannot help but enjoy walking the cliffs and rocks of La Jolla Cove. If you can’t find parking next to the Cove, you can probably find a space in the downtown district. That will also give you the chance to grab some coffee at The Living Room before you stroll down to the water.
