Erawan Museum has a 3-headed, 250-ton elephant standing proudly on the roof and each of its 3 floors symbolizes a region of the Hindu cosmos — the underworld, earth and finally heaven on the third floor, which is actually contained within the belly of the elephant itself. Inside the museum are fine antiques, sculptures, and religious artifacts, while the top of the first floor features a beautiful stained glass window roof. You’ll never see a museum quite like this one.
