A hidden gem that often gets overlooked is the UBC Museum of Anthropology. The architecture of the building itself embodies the West Coast vibe but also the exhibits are a tribute to the history and artwork by the First Nations.
The building is inspired by the cedar post and beam way of building by many of the local First Nations. While the floor to ceiling glass windows gives way to the Salish Sea revealing a stunning interplay between art and the inspiration provided by nature.
