No place in the world (except maybe London’s West End) has anything like Broadway Theater. More commonly known as “Broadway” which is actually the street in New York City off of which most of the theater houses are located in midtown Manhattan. Broadway is comprised of 40 theaters that put on live performances almost every night of the week. Keep in mind that most shows do not have performances on Mondays when scheduling a visit. If you are looking for discounted tickets to a show, don’t forget to check out TKTS, which allows customers to purchase same day tickets at discounted rates. The performances available for purchase at TKTS vary day by day depending on availability of unsold tickets for a performance, so get there early if there is one, in particular, you would like to see.
