BELLE ISLE

Belle Isle is one of Detroit’s most unexpected treasures. This island nature conservatory is connected to the mainland via the McArthur Bridge and will transport you in more ways than one. There is much to do on the island, but among some of the most popular are the Belle Isle Aquarium, the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, the only public beach in Detroit complete with a water slide, and Belle Isle Casino.
