ARTICHOKE BASILLE’S PIZZA

Of course, you have to try New York style pizza when in New York City, but if you are looking for something a bit more out of the box, the low-key Artichoke Basille is the place to go. Per the name, its most famous pizza is a deeper dish Artichoke Pizza, consisting of artichoke hearts, spinach, cream sauce and cheeses, but there are a number of other creative concoctions that are all well worth it. There are multiple locations in the city, some bigger than others, so plan accordingly. The location in Chelsea is a sit-down establishment, whereas the location in Greenwich Village is not. Thank me when you have devoured three slices in one sitting!
