Brooklyn

Brooklyn-Bridge

Why should you visit Brooklyn?

You simply can’t get bored in Brooklyn. There’s too much to do! Almost every neighborhood is different and offers its own special attractions, whether it’s yummy cuisine (Brooklyn is a foodie paradise) or the great summer stoop sales in Park Slope.

New York and especially Brooklyn is a diverse and ever changing landscape. The City and Brooklyn have very distinctly different vibes, but both have their own charm. From the hip neighborhood of Williamsburg to the luxurious and opulent Upper East Side, New York has something to offer for everyone’s taste. The people are interesting, the weather is volatile and neighborhoods change from street to street meaning you are only ever block away from your next adventure.

Brooklyn’s larger spaces and cheaper rent lured many a yuppie across the bridge from Manhattan. Brooklyn is now a venerable mecca for food, everything artisanal, and vintage. Brooklyn is much more than kale eating hipsters sipping a ginger beer-based cocktail. Rap heroes, Notorious BIG, Jay-Z, Lil Kim all hailed from the borough of the “perfect verse over a tight beat.” Brooklyn has a rhythm, a beat all to itself and has an attitude that doesn’t care that it is the cool kid. Brooklyn already knew that. It just took a while for the world to catch on.

Local Customs:

Brooklynites are real. They don’t like fakes. Show up as you are. Be true to yourself, and you’ll fit right in.
