Why should you visit Berlin?
Berlin is so much more than the Wall that divided the city 25 years ago. Since the reunification, the city has cultivated an unmatchable cool cred as “the New York of Europe.” Old bunkers and abandoned spaces have been revived as clubs, art studios and event spaces. The city is significantly cheap for a capital city, as many foreigners have made Berlin their home in the past 15 years. You will find WWII tidbits everywhere, from street signs to museums. Berlin is the former capital of Prussia, so a touch of elegance graces the majestic architecture – including palaces, royal guest homes and ballrooms. The adventure never stops, even for those who have lived here for decades.
