National WWII Museum Pavilion

The National WWII Museum is one of the newest New Orleans attractions, yet brings the most visitors for good reason. Designated by Congress as the official WWII museum of the United States, expect detailed narratives, historical artifacts, and restoration projects. See what made the war that changed the world possible. Interesting fact – the museum is located in New Orleans because it is the home to the Higgins boat. Over 20,000 of these boats were built and tested in Southern Louisiana during the world.
