As a part of the world famous San Diego Zoo, Safari Park offers visitors a quality experience. Unlike other zoos, the Safari Park allows animals to roam in the environment more like their nature habitat. This is an experience that is better in the winter and cooler months, as it can get really hot, and the summer is when the animals will be harder to spot. Wear comfortable shoes and definitely take the Africa Tram Safari ride, for an unforgettable experience. Another fun activity is the Flightline Safari, which is like a seated zipline taking riders for 2/3 mile across the park giving them a new angle on the animals below.
