The Italian Market in Philadelphia spans ten blocks along South 9th Street and is one of the country’s largest outdoor markets. There are so many great shops in Italian Market, and they’re not all Italian. Although most of the shops sell food like fresh produce and imported cheese, you can also buy kitchen items and cookbooks. Be sure to come hungry, as you’ll surely want to snack on baked goods and cheesesteaks as you wander around the market.
