A must do is an evening jazz cruise along the Mississippi River aboard the Steamboat Natchez. This blast from the past that catches everyone’s eye hangs around the Mississippi, letting jazz carry across the river. While the cruise is also offered during the day, the evening cruise allows a unique view of the skyline. This may be the only time it is advised to skip the dinner in Nola, as it is not a good example of the world-renowned cuisine in the city. Simply hop off and dip into one of the many restaurants along the quarter.
