Serious Pie & Biscuit, a Tom Douglas restaurant, is one of my favorites. He won the James Beard Award (the Oscars of Food) in 2012 as Best Restaurateur, and he has appeared on an episode of Iron Chef America, and was named Iron Chef. It’s not hard to see why. From the moment I was introduced to this restaurant, it was an instant hit for me. My mouth is watering as I’m writing this. Seriously, this is one of my favorite. Their pizzas are great, and every item I’ve tried on their a la carte menu is delicious. I come here for the biscuits and gravy, with a fennel sausage. BTW: I just swallowed again.
