When it comes to the most unusual site in the city, the Mutter Museum wins hands down. According to the museum, their goal is to help visitors “understand the beauty and mysteries of the human body,” but most people visit the museum to see some of the world’s weirdest human specimens.
Exhibits include the display case filled with hundreds of criminals’ skulls, a collection of deformed baby bodies in jars, skeletons of people with growth disorders, and even President Grover Cleveland’s tumor. This place is so unusual, that visiting right after a big meal is not recommended.
