A true hidden gem in the city is Lilly’s Cafe. The city has a heavy Vietnamese population and it shows through the traditional food found at Lilly’s. Get a pho of your choice (beef, tofu, shrimp, etc.) and Lilly Rolls, their refreshing take on the traditional spring roll. To avoid the lunch rush, go after 2:00PM during the week. You’ll mostly see young professionals who live and work near the restaurant. Located on Magazine Street, the area is also home to some quirky shops and bars.
