If you find yourself on St. Patrick street, you may think your eyes are playing tricks on you when you see a house that looks like it’s been sawed in half. The Half House is the lone dwelling that stood proudly against development throughout the years, despite the obvious expansion that has occurred immediately around it. It was during the 1950’s that its owner refused to sell to a developer who had bought all of the surrounding properties.
