The Churchill War Rooms

Opened to the public in 1984, these are the original Cabinet War Rooms, where Churchill and his government hunkered down whilst London was being bombed in The Blitz. Well preserved and looked after – the War Rooms contain a fascinating and historical subterranean world. It also contains The Churchill Museum, which gives a fascinating insight into one of the 20th century’s greatest Britons.
