Brigantessa is a new restaurant located on East Passyunk Avenue in South Philly. Surrounded by several popular restaurants, Brigantessa is a standout with a Southern Italian menu developed by Chef Joe Cicala. When you eat the authentic dishes, it’s no surprise that the food was inspired by Cicala’s years in the boot. The Neapolitan pizza is not to be missed. Eating pizza at Brigantessa is about as close as you can get to eating pizza in Naples without getting on a plane.
