Audubon Zoo

Audubon Zoo Entrance

Opened in 1914, the Audubon Zoo is still one of the best places for adults and children. Most of the attractions are outside so it’s best to save this for the cooler months of September-April. They have recently opened a 750-foot lazy river where adult beverages are available for purchase. Some of the can’t miss animals are the white alligators (not albino!) and the silver back gorilla.
