From Michelin star Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, ABC Kitchen was one of the first restaurants in New York City to start the farm to table movement. The restaurant focuses on fresh, local, and organic ingredients for American cuisine, and the ambiance of the restaurant conveys that focus as well. As an added bonus, the owner of ABC Kitchen is the same owner as ABC Home, a luxury home goods store in the city, and ABC Home’s furnishings can be seen throughout the restaurant and ABC Kitchen’s sister restaurant, ABC Cocina (also very good, but focused more on tapas). Although it’s on the pricier side, the quality and deliciousness of the food makes up for the price.
